Pindaya Cave
The ancient caves are about one mile southwest of the town, and can be reached by car. Except for the young and energetic, the best way is to go leisurely be horsecart to the foot of the hills, reserving your energy for the 200 steps up the covered stairway leading to the cave entrance and for exploring the huge meandering maze made up of numerous caves.

Bamboo Hat Making Workshop
The process of typical Bamboo hat making is an experience to share at the village of Thayetkone in Pindaya Township in Shan State. The frame is made of bamboo and the cover, of bamboo husks.

Or Yaw Village

Or Yaw is a quarter of Pindaya and the main business of the native people is agriculture. On the other hand they enjoy pottery and handicrafts making. They produce water pot, flower vases and toys for children.

Pone Ta Lote Lake

It is situated in Pindaya, Shan State and 3880 feet (1183m) above sea level. While visit Shwe U Min Cave, one can see the beauty of that lake. Nearby because of the old and huge Banyan trees, the beauty of landscape is more attracted.

Pyadalin Cave

Pyadalin prehistoric cave is situated on the western slope of Shan State, Ywangan township, Pindaya district, Southern Shan State. This cave was firstly discovered in 1960. The rock paintings are seen in the cave.

Sin Khaung Monastery

It is situated at Sin Khaung quarter, at the foot of the Pindaya caves mountain. It is built by wood, traditional Shan style and 200 years old. There are old bamboo weaving Buddha images and bronze statues inside the monastery.

Umbrella & Shan-paper Making

Pindaya is one of the key places where local style umbrellas and Shan-paper are made. There are round about 20 places at Ngetpyawdaw quarter at Pindaya in Shan State. Tourists can experience the process of making umbrellas and traditional Shanpaper.

Yazagyi Village

Situated in the western part of Pindaya; a 4 hour walk up to the village is an experience of the life style of Palaung tribes and tea plantations. The weather is pleasantly cold the whole year round.
